Oil Bubbles Sculpture At Well No.1 In Karamay

Tourists visit the oil bubbles sculpture at Well No.1 on August 9, 2015 in Karamay, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China. Crude oil flow spurted out of the Well No.1 in Karamay on October 29, 1955, declaring the birth of the first large oil field of new China. Located at the Well No.1, the oil bubbles sculpture consisting of big stainless steel oil bubbles and small ones will open from late August.















A stainless steel sculpture in the shape of an oil bubble will appear at the end of this month in Karamay,
Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It has been built since 2013 at the site of the first oil well in Karamay.
