What food do you hate? "A Pure Formality" 1994, dir Polanski ***half

"A Pure Formality" 1994, dir Polanski ***half

Somebody asked what foods do you hate on fb... actually, if you hate it, why, why do you hate it? There are tons of other foods in the world, why focus on what you hate? Whats the purpose of the question? I understand in this question more like, I dont like it, and I wonder why some people do. What I like to see is the details of the answers, as usual. One way or the other. There is a scene in a movie about a writer who died we only hear a gun shot, and the movie was a "who dunnit?" The dead goes to the next life, before going to the next life, he met the inquisitor , the man who controls the accts, he has to answer to the "accts to your life" type of role, asked many questions. What he did in his life, who killed him, what and how it happened etc, the "him" in the movie cannot remember how he died. He started to have a long sequence of memories, and of the whole movie, I especially remembered this great monologue of how he hated milk.

Most of the answers were single words, true to internet fb culture.

In fact the movie was directed by Polanski who also played inquisitor, and the writer who was being asked to soul seach was Depardieu -  a great scene.

Some movies have specific great scenes, this monologue is so moving, similar to the Cyrano speech hiding in the bush. :)

Pint size Glass milk carton
Glass milk carton, the pint size. This is the pint size carton but formalised in glass, I think I have the same in a candy container in transparent plastic. This is a drink for school children. They pack this in lunch boxes. The original was in waxed carton. When I was in primary school, three children in the class would have the milk given to them. I did not understand why these children had milk and others did not. Nobody talked about it either. Maybe, when they grow up, they also hate milk too?
