Very moving. First time I see up close about life inside Indian reservation. It's not easy to move from point A to point B. How the government tries to do good. There is also something enclosed about the environment, the way things work, it's all internal a no way out system, reminds me of how small some worlds could be.

I guess most of stories about people could be simplified to "how to get from point A to point B". Doesnt matter if you are from the countryside, the princes palace, the man lost in the forest for 40 years thinking war is still on. Important issue is "How to get from Point A to Point B"
So to do anything, you need a target, then you find out whats needed to get to the target. Once you gather everything on hand, you do whatever you think best to finish - but of course details are everything. Life is in the details.
This is a v gd, breathing with life story. The boy burns the bag of money and drugs in a tiny bonfire that he made including his how to do magic book, but he kept the one precious thing he treasures, a feather - is this an eagles' feather? - because what could you do w these things? If he tried to use them, he will be in hot water more than ever. He could not leave his Point A without other supporting elements. He found it in the man whose house he has broken into to steal food, but the man asked him if he wanted pancake, would he like some food? and upon request, made him a peanut butter and jam sandwich for him, he had found someone a little like him, someone like family. This is "communication" to say it coldly. No one could "communicate" verbally without passing into actual detail acts.
If possible, go see this movie, its a great film. 4 stars
