剛看了＂春天的麻雀＂Spring Sparrow. 

"电影很感人也很美丽。鄧丽君的歌声正是这个年代的人渴望的 80s。好看很真誠.  

A lot of the scenes are done in a v sweet way, almost like a Miyazaki animation film but played by real people.   For example the guy and girl courting in the field next to a tree. The simple hand holding etc.   This could be compared to love stores set in thé 70's. The 60's the 90's.  Compared to other memory lane type of films, this one is a pure sweetness film.  Unlike the other ones w more contrast, such as A Brighter Summer Day by Jiang Wen - also about growing up, or many others (will find titles), those other ones are more constrasted with major events of the respective epoque, which includes more blood, sweat and tears - with more granular texture in the stories. This one is in the 80s, the dawn of a golden age, where people are trying things out.   I like this too, it corresponds to its time.  Pregnant women could also cheat on buying a few potatoes not paying etc.  the milder, smaller trials and errors are not less true, less sincere.  This film looks like its got  much less budget than the other big budget films - but this film is in another style - a lot of the reality is shown via an extended time used over small everyday tasks, for example in the market when the 4 young men tried to buy food, every cent is evaluated over and over again.  Not w sadness but w much care, because they want to make their trip to Beijing a success and must be careful.  

I would say the film is a finer embroidery almost, a basic stylistic difference from a big budget commercial film.  Took 1.5years to make.  

A sweet memory of difficulties of growing up , bursting out... And the life cycles of challenges. Looking back, we remember the soft gentle moments, beauty, courage and triumph. Sweet peaceful, the good the bad and smile.

By the way, an important detail about name attributions for Teresa Teng (credit detail: 鄧丽君 Teresa Teng ; should not be written as Deng LiJun - just like Confucius is a known as a "brand" name and not to be written as KongZi)
