Top: Germinated sprout in wood box planter I have bought some corn and saved one cob to see if i could grow them.
Seeds saved in 2014. As seeds could get old - so I try to germinate them. I tried in 2015, 100% failure. This year, by accident I found a small bag with more seeds from the same cob, so I try to germinate them by soaking and rinsing - the usual way, and normally it works v well. This year, maybe I had 100 seeds? Only 3 grew roots. So I will see if they actually get to the reproduction stage! :) 一般白色的糯玉米都要購買種子，而這種黑珍珠玉米則是可以自己留種子。
