Day 65 - 16feb2022 - Diy singing challenge report to Fan Group "Dimash Kudaibergen International Fan Club"

What could you do during Covid lock down time? Learn to sing from online teachers!!

My original plan was 6 years, why 6 years? If you are doing a diy thing, just make it as long as you think you could stand until further notice. But since then, pro teachers have told me, maybe 3 years is already a gd basic duration. So for those who are thinking of doing the same, 3 years is gd!!!

Here is my report from a singing challenge posed in our group approx 6 months ago. Thanks to Grisel CIs initiative in the group "Dimash Kudaibergen International Fan Club" and often fun ideas for fans. Briefly, somebody asked could anyone sing QiuYiNong (Autumn Strong) here? Lets sing together or something like this, exactly I have to check my Experimental log book - Originally my favorite song was the Crown, but since it seems so many people are attached to QiuYiNong, doesnt hurt to take a look at this as a control example for learning to sing. so I started responding to the call to see who else might want to do this, and the one who really responded was the wonderful Mona Ed, she even sent me a small 10sec clip of the beginning of the song... so on so forth, so now, here we are, I have been learning from watching most of the Dimash QiuYiNong performances, including all the periphery versions of the original song, in various languages, including the original song writer etc etc. and online singing techniques, comparing what other Dears do, Amy S, and a lot of other wonderful people

I just want to thank the super fan group - I have never joined any fan groups before - without you, I would not have done this "Diy learn to sing" experimental work. It is not yet finished, I am now onto Phase Two (polishing the song to become my own song) I guess.

But yes, I have learnt to sing. :)

"My Funny Valentine, chet baker version", the practice of having sang a song with low to high notes sort of trained my vocalisation to move from high to low and back with much more ease. I have never sang this song before, but i think having trained on a Dimash song, since he likes to cover a v large range of notes - its a bit like training on a keyboard... :) except it is much more fun and open opportunities to see v gd looking and humorous people action. So, here are my results.

V interesting concept! If i were in Danemark, i would like to take out a human book... we must try before we know how it is like really.  In our society this is a v gd thing, a magic door to the life of another without all these strange filaments attached that makes people afraid of interactions w another person.  Sometimes things has to be formalized to get to the same ressources.  The sage, the wizard, the wiseman, the oneiric grandma in the middle of the road from Moscow to a remote place on the train - in the last prize winning movie, "Compartment No. 6" by Juho Kuosmanen.  These people are all capable of this human ressources magic, a movement of knowledge, of human presence, the road of companionship from birth to heaven/or elsewhere... 

  And by extension a good movie is not about having special effects, its about this passage from one form to another, the film gives you something that when you go home from the cinema, you have receive a kind of gift.  When i was writing my thesis, the prof - whom i met v rarely - said, we are here to accompany you on a quest on your research topic for the duration of the thesis.  They dont know more than you, you will be the expert in the subject at the end - of the tunnel.  They just accompany you for a short time.  So the professor is in some way also in this role vis a vis a student.

J'ai aussi joué des couples asiatiques, mixed, parlant anglais, français, chinois courrament - par exemple dans la serie Ten Pourcent dans une scene avec Jean Reno dans un café, voir photo ci jointes. :) J'aime danser, chanter. (voir bande de sons sur liens de QR code à la fin de mon cv. Je joue aussi une grand mère timide mais qui aime chanter et le mari de ce couple est un chanteur.
